1. If Boating and Fishing always ensure you and passengers are wearing "Life-Vests".
2. Never go into unknown waters, or fish in unauthorized waters, some waters are posted as "No Fishing" because the water may be contaminated, others may simply be private property, and always beware of how deep water is before "fly fishing".
3. Know your State's "Fishing and Gaming" Laws and Licensing Rules Prior to fishing.
4. Always be aware of weather conditions where you will be fishing.
5. Keep plenty of Tackle on long fishing trips, Rods, Reels, Line, Lure, Bait, Etc.
6. Some fish like to feed near the surface, some the middle and some the bottom of the water, so keep a variety of different types of "Bobbers and Sinkers".
7. For safety always be mindful of where you are "casting" your line.
8. Use the appropriate bait/lure for the type of fishing you will be doing, ie, Freshwater or Saltwater and depening upon the type of fish, bass, Crappie, Salmon, Trout.
9. Remember to keep the proper safety equipment while boating, flashlight, etc.
10. Be aware that drinking alcohol while operating a boat is illegal in the U.S.
